Hi, I’m Alli!

I’m a military wife and stay at home mom of two boys with a passion for finding fun and engaging activities for them to make learning fun. I want to foster a life-long love of learning. And I love making memories with my kids.

In 2016, I started to worry that my then-preschooler was not going to be as prepared for school as other children who had been to daycares and preschools. So I started looking for and planning creative play-based learning opportunities for him and sometimes his friends, too. Since then we have continued to have fun and experiment with STEAM and literacy activities, both structured and unstructured, indoors and out. We especially love exploring natural spaces and checking out local forests, ponds, beaches and trails.

This year we have had to be extra creative with the pandemic changing our regular education plan. We are home schooling following the Ontario curriculum with some *spice*.
